A breezy Sunday morning at Shorncliffe with Henry

This gorgeous family found me through my very first attempt at promoting myself on Facebook with my family and friends with a little advertisement for family photo shoots.

I was so nervous to meet them as they would be the very shoot I did for someone other than my friends (or friends of friends) and family. Clarissa and I agreed that Shorncliffe would be a great spot to meet and I ventured down there on the Saturday morning to scope out some places and take some practice shots with my eldest son Byron.

On the day of the shoot - to say I was nervous would be the understatement of the century! I arrived almost an hour early because I had done a quick google maps search earlier that morning and saw what looked like an amazing spot on the other side of the Shorncliffe Pier. And my goodness did we hit the jackpot when we found Frank Doyle Park at Shorncliffe! I quickly messaged Clarissa to change the location and luckily enough for me, her and Rowan were super cruisy and more than happy to meet me at this new spot I'd found.

We had an absolutely lovely morning exploring the Shorncliffe shoreline away from the hustle and bustle of a regular Sunday morning at Shorncliffe Pier. There were spots for photos on the waterfront, with the gorgeous cliffs in the background and under the most beautiful Moreton Bay fig trees.

I made a new little friend in Henry who filled my pockets with all kinds of treasures that he found on our little adventure and we captured some beautiful moments of their family as they soaked up the precious moments of it being just the three of them before the arrival of their beautiful little girl.
